- Always conduct your investigation in a professional manner.
- Ask permission to enter private property. No trespassing.
- Ask permission from the spirits to take their pictures. When coming upon a site walk around, talk among yourselves, just get a feel for the area and give the spirits time to adjust to your presence.
- We do not do Ouija boards.
- No smoking during an investigation.
- No alcohol before or during an investigation.
- Keep your camera straps, long hair, and fingers away from the camera lens.
- Show respect in cemeteries and historical sites (battlefields).
- Always use fresh audio tapes for the EVP recordings.
- Do not take photos in adverse conditions, rain, snow, mist, or fog. Also beware of bugs and other foreign objects floating in the air.
- Avoid shooting into the Sun or bright lights to avoid lens flair.
- Always have a partner. Never go alone for safety reasons and also it's good to have someone else verify your experiences.
